Green Tree Angela or Angel you really can't understand her name. years of abusive collections actions. Arizona

When I first got my loan, it was with conseco finance. This was in 1999. Then in 2004 Greentree received the loan.  This company is unreal.  In 2007 my husband got behind with his payments due to a job change.  He called to try to talk to them about the payment. They would not help. Pay it or else.  After talking to several reps everyday for two weeks and some guy names Mike, he was told that he had no choice but to make the payment or he would repo the house.  After trying to find a family member to help and no one could.  He got so stressed out because the ugly phone calls would not stop, he started having chest pains. When mike called again on a saturday afternoon, being so rude to my husband, not listening, giving him no respect, being abusive, telling my husband that he would take his house, my husband had a heart attack. He had never had any health problems before.  We finally got through this problem with the help from God and our church.

In April 2011 I lost my job due to the tornados here in Tuscaloosa, without her income we live paycheck to paycheck.  Finding a job here is almost next to impossible.  Again, we got behind due to this.  Needless to say, there is still no help from Green Tree.  They call 15 times a day. One call after another.  Leaving ugly messages. In June, a dog got under my mobile home and chewed my phone lines coming into my house. I will have to pay $150.00 to rerun my lines. I can not afford this.  Well Green Tree demanded that they have a contact number. I gave them my son's number.  Since they could not call me 15 times a day, they called him.  Finally he told them not to call back and blocked their number.  They called my references that where given on loan applications, which was my mother. They have called her and told her that they were going to send someone to take pictures of my home and put it up for sale.  They have given her information about the money that is owed that is totally against federal laws.

The matter that made me really upset was when I received a letter from them stating that I owed a total of 1100.00 and I knew I didn't owe this money.  I walked down the stree and borrowed a cell phone from my neighbor and called them about the problem.  I got a lady named Angela, Angel, or ashley, I couldn't understand her name.  This lady was so abusive. I asked her about the letter and told her that a payment had been make on the 30th so whay was the balance 1100.00. She would not answer my question. She was to busy blessing me out about not having a phone.  And how come I can go get one now and not going to borrow one before now.  I told her that it is none of my neighbors business about my affairs and she stated that I am supposed to call them.  That they are supposed to have a contact number on the account.  I told her that they do and someday I will be able to get the lines fixed, but until then, I will not give them a family members number because they have abused these numbers.  She then started telling my that I was not listening to her, because I would not be quite and let her talk.  I told her that I did hear her because she has repeated herself 5 times since I have entered this conversation.  She has yet to answer my question about the payment.  She then proceeded to tell me that she had contacted my mother and she had even called my church.  They would call anybody they wanted.  This was their right.  And if I did not make my payments, they would take my home.  Well since this conversation, Green tree has contacted the cell phone that I used to make this call.  This is really annoying. The Lady that I borrowed the cell phone from came down and let me know that they had been leaving voice messages which she saved and talked to personally.  The lady who's name starts with an A, stated that she needed to leave a message for my husband and she told her that he was not there and the lady gave her a number.  She then asked her numerous time if she had the number.  She did have the number and the A lady told her to make sure he got this message. My neighbor said that this lady was rude, demanding and treated her like a 10 year old.  I told her to just report it to the federal trade commission.  That abusive debt collection practices are prohibited by law.  And the bad part is it is not even her debt.  Enough is enough.  I have given my mother a copy of the federal laws and told her is they break any of these laws to contact the FTC.
