JD Byrider, CNAC Rip Off!!! Columbia South Carolina

I purchased a 2000 Ford Taurus from JD Byrider. At first I thought that I was getting a good deal. They even gave me a Carfax report.... so what would you think? The dealership said that I would be financed for 1 1/2 years and that is the paper that I signed... well they redid the paperwork somehow and it stated 2 1/2 years after I relooked at them a few months later. 2 days after purchasing the car, the rear windows quit working and there was a skip in the motor. I told them about it and they said that it was my problem to get fixed. Then about 6 months later I had to replace my whole engine....again they said that this was my problem. Then after that I had a few more things go wrong and it had to go back in the shop 2 months after that.... It ended up costing me about $2,000 for the 2 shop visits for a family member that owned a shop to do the work at wholesale costs. I could not afford to pay this kind of a shop invoice and still afford my payments, so I asked if there was anyway that they could work with me on payments..They said yes.... so I thought they were being nice. I made my payments as agreed and they still after the agreement came and repossessed my car at 5:00 am in the morning and I still have yet to be able to get my belongings out of my car and they would not even let me get my tags so that I could turn them into the DMV.... Then the DMV contacts me 4 months later and says that they are going to suspend my liscense for unpaid taxes and expired tags on a car that I do not even have.... I had to get that stright with the DMV!!!! These people at JD Byrider and CNAC are the biggest ripoffs that I have ever seen.

My brother bought a 2002 Grand Prix widetrac from them and now, only 3 months later is having to put a transmisson in his car; my mom had bought a 2000 Dodge Ram truck from them about 6 months ago and has already had it in the shop 5 times and this last time had to put a new rear end in the truck... RIPOFFS!!!!

Please beware and do not purchase a vehicle from them!!!!
