I purchased a 19' LCD monitor from TigerDirect in June '06. I jumped through the hoops placed in front of me and decided that a quick resolution via fee based Tiger Direct stored value card issued by OnRebate was the way to go.
WRONG! I have spent uncountable time on the phone since and have still not gotten anything other than a now stale and lame "Accounting is looking into your claim" This after I opted for the "quick" fee based card that was approved and noted on thier website oin August 7th. They tell me to be patient. It has now been more than 3 months and I just got another email from them saying that acct'ing is still..
I especially like the way they will not forward your call to anyone of any supervisory capacity. They are like irresponsible children running the business while the parents are away - they are completely cluesless (by design) as to what customer service is about. I tried to go through Tiger Direct since they were at least related by hiving introduced OnRebate - that call went no where when some pimple faced teenager explained why they are not associated with OnRebate. Hello, the card for my rebate was for Tiger Direct and that is where I made my purchases.
I am going to try and use the email convention referenced in the many, many complaints forund on this site for this sad organization and write to the President and CEO. Let me know if you have any luck getting through the thick headed people that answer the phone.
