I wonder how anyone can sign up to PC Tools after reading all the complaints. I have tried to unsubscribe but to no avail. I haven't used Spyware Doctor for years and have thrown it off my PC.

Yet each year money is deducted from my Visa account. (twice 29,95 USD) Even more hair-raising is the fact that when I log into my personal account it mentions that Registry Mechanic has expired since July 22 2002!!! I receive no response to my mails apart from a ticket mentioning receipt of my complaint. PC Tools also make it extremely difficult to decide what kind of complaint to formulate as these issues regard billing, automatic renewal, account details etc. One gets the impression this is done intentionally so as to discourage any further attempts at receiving a rational reply. Utterly disgusting policies if you ask me and I am not planning to leave things as they are whatever measures I'll have to take in the near future.
