I purchased the SOYO Midtower Case from TigerDirect on the basis of receiving the item for FREE after rebates. I mailed three separate rebate forms on 09/17/2004 each for $20. Still to known status.
I purchased a SOYO motherboard from Micro Center that advertised a $50 rebate. I mailed the rebate request on 10/10/2004, still no check.
I made several inquiries at www.verifyrebate.com (which is no longer a reachable website) and I received 150 emails each at 2 minute intervals that said exactly the same this...
"We would like to apologize for the delay. Your rebate has not been processed. Please keep checking www.verifyrebate.com to check on your status. Thank you for your patience."
This of course flooded my inbox and I had to create an email rule to automatically move the message out of my inbox.

I ordered the Soyo Midtower case with 350 watt power supply and Soyo Bayone 9 in 1 card reader from Tigerdirect because Soyo offered rebates.
Submitted rebates properly on 9-16-04 and waited until 1-4-05 before trying to call Soyo at 909-292-2500. All I get is a busy signal with their phone number and verifyrebate.com won't acknowledge that I actually registered my rebate with them.
