Soyo Group, SOYO Group, fraudulent rebates ripoff will not reply to correspondence Diamond Bar California

Like many other consumers on ripoffreport.com, I too have been cheated by Soyo Group, Inc. for two rebates I submitted almost 21 weeks ago.

The purchase was for the Soyo SY-P4i865PE+V1.0 motherboard and was made on Newegg.com. This motherboard was priced at $75 on the website and came with two rebates, one for $40 and one for $35. I submitted them immediately after I received the product - giving them a postmark date of 9-3-04.

Having been a victim of rebate fraud in the past, I have learned to make copies of everything I submit, including the envelope I mail it in. If the rebate is late, I contact the company the very first day of its tardiness. I did the same in this situation.

At first, Soyo was very good about responding - so I had no problem waiting patiently. However, after December 7th, they stopped responding to my emails. I have since attempted to email and call them over ten times, but to no avail.

So now I am going to report them on ripoffreport.com and any other consumer complaint website I can find. I also contacted the FTC (www.ftc.gov) and intend to contact the BBB, Attorney General for my home state, and the Department of Consumer Affairs for the state of California. Companies like this should be shut down, or at the very least punished!
