Soyo Group, SoyoUsa Rebate deal was a scam They claimed they never received rebate information and keep giving me a run around Ripoff Ontario California

I had purchased a Soyo Motherboard from newegg.com back in 11/2004. Cost was $90.00, but with a $45+$45 rebate, the cost was $0.

As soon as I reveived the product, I filled out the paperwork for the rebated and mailed the rebate information out.

Not reveiving any one of my rebates, I called in mid-January 2005 to inquire about the rebate. The representative at Soyo (909-292-2528) told me that they don't have a record of submission and to submit the information along with a letter stating this to the Special Case Department, 1042 N Mountain Ave #B 291, Upland CA 91786.

I waited about 1 month after submitting the letter and called back. They claimed again that they don't have a record of submission. Again they told me to submit a letter to the same address. So I did that again, of course with all proofs of the receipt and a copy of the upc symbol.

I called back 1.5 months later which was 3/30/2005. The rep told me that they don't have a record of my submission..figures. I told them that I had sent a letter to the Special Case department in mid-February..I didn't mention the letter in mid-January..They told me that they just had a meeting with their supervisor that day and that they had began to work on the rebates re-submitted around the beginning of march timeframe. I said Oh really , and then told them about the letter I had originally sent in mid-January 2005. Well the representative was baffeled..she told me that all of those submissions should have been taken care of and that she will need to speak to her supervisor. I was waiting for her to say that she will call me back... but she told ME to call back.

Come on guys, If you're going to pull a scam like this, at least train your employees first. I also know things get lost in the mail from time to time, but 4 pieces of mail going out at different times!!!
