Mars Discrimination against Housing Voucher Los Angeles CA

Brentwood Park at 1245 McClelan Dr in Los Angeles, CA , had an unit available for leave, when I called to inquire if still available , the lady which is the resdisent manager comemos the unit was still available for lease and she asked me if I make at least 3 times the amount of the rent to qualify and I answered that I actually have a housing voucher that would completely cover the amount of the rent, being deposited directly on the landlord's account every month. The lady went rampant on me, blasting on the phone that there was no way the building would allow section 8 tenants to live there and hang up the phone on me.

I felt humiliated and discriminated against as I would not be worth to apply for a rental there. Very bad experience and still feeling rejected and frustrated that I wasn't even allowed to apply so the management could see my background check results. 
When searching for a  rental please avoid this unethical company and their toxic practices .
