In my most recent visit to WorldMark in Scottsdale Arizona on March 9th, 2020 I was sold more points with promises made. I was told that the representative would call me to go over things with my daughter to make sure that we could fit it into our lifestyles with us being an elderly couple with a limited income. This was right before COVID-19 became a global pandemic which happened on March 11th, 2020. Once returning home on March 11th, 2020 and talking with my daughter we decided with everything going on and the instability that it would not be a right fit.

I waited for the call that was promised. The call never came. I then gave the representative a call and at that time is when she informed me that she no longer works there and that I was now five days out of the cancelation time frame. She then had someone who still worked there give me a call. During that call I was advised to still send in my letter of cancelation. That was done promptly. Sometime after, I received an e-mail back from them declining my request. I then called the number in the email to see why and was just told that there was nothing more that could be done it was outside of the time frame. None of promises that were made by the people that day were kept.

After further review of the contract I found another lie amongst the many that I was told that day. I had been promised 60 days same as cash for the money that I owed when looking into my contract there was one page with large font that was never shown to me that clearly said that I did not qualify for the 60 days same as cash. After arriving home, I received a bill from a credit company that I knew nothing about with a 12-thousand-dollar balance on it. While they were preparing the contract contract, they told us that there would be a down payment which we stated if so we would not be able to do it unless it was put on the back of the loan.

When going through all the paperwork no where do we see where we signed a credit application. Once looking into it further, I made another call to them. I was once again told that there was nothing that they could do for me. When asked if they hold their representatives accountable for the promises that they make my question was just ignored and I was told once again that nothing would be able to be done for me.

I have been beyond disappointed with this experience from this company. I have been with them since the early 90’s and have never been treated so poorly. My only ask of them was to honor the promises that were made and to make things right and allow for me to have my account placed back the way it was before all the lies and missed promises.
