208 Organic 208 Organic Lawn Care and Landscaping Clare Baxter Lied Misled Damaged Deceptive Overcharged Threaten Boise Idaho

We hired this company 208 Organic to do a backyard demo. The quote was $1,845 to remove all grass, rocks, weeds, and back fill the fence line.

After multiple delays (including them canceling the day work was to start) the project started off with them raising the price another $500 dollars. We reminded them that we need to approve the extra expenses beforehand NOT after the fact. The next day it went up another $200 dollars. Then it went up another $650 dollars. Then I get another email stating the total is almost $4500 dollars.

They said it would take 40 hours which was a lie.

They said it wopuld take 1 day but took 6 days (and is still not complete) another lie.

They said they would rent a bobcat which was a lie.

They said the disposal fees would be $120 which ended up being $1800 another lie.

So once I thought the job was complete I offered to pay them another $800 in addition to the $2000 I had already paid them for a total of $2,800. Jesse and Zach (co-owners) said that would probably work and once they get to the office they will let me know. They were respectful but then I get a call from Clare saying that will not work and it will not be the final payment but she wants it anyway. She then threaten to lien my house and to sue me.

As if this wasn't bad enough I walked through my yard and noticed a tremendous amount of damage. After talking with a few different contractors I'm going to spend thousands of dollars just fixing all the damage. 208 Organic told me I would need 6 yards of dirt but because way to much dirt was removed I now need 60 yards. All of my fruit tree roots are scraped and cut and above ground. The two trees Clare pruned have both died. My front yard has a permanent dirt trail which now I will have to replace it. My sprinklers have been damaged along with my front fence and gate being destroyed. They said they will fix it but just left a pile of powder concrete in my front yard. The list goes on and on and on, and unlike the other two owners (Zach and Jesse) Clare has zero respect and has blamed me for everything. She always has an excuse and will never admit any wrong doing.
