Recently my brother and I attempted to go to a branch of Bally fitness located here in Jamaica NY on January 24, 2015 at 10pm. To our disappointment the gym was closed, despite being a "24/7" and not a holiday. We did not get any notice during our prior workout. I was very disappointment being an athlete and regularly working out, but missing one of my days...This is unacceptable of a gym I had high regards for and the name being "24 hour fitness". Upon the changing of the name from "Bally fitness" to "24 Hour Fitness" employees told all members of the changes. They told every single member of the gym that gym would be open 24/7. That is a huge lie and the gym has the same hours as before...

Also the cancelation fees are insane...
