Acai Berry Breeze Acai Berry Breeze billing for $133.95, canceled last summer Scottsdale, Arizona

My husband ordered something online last summer (July we think?) that was supposed to be a free trial, just pay for shipping. We never rec'd the product, although something like $88 was charged to our card. We disputed the charges with the bank and they took charges off. We canceled the card and got a new one. He tried calling the customer service line and could not get through to anyone, so he went online to cancel our "account" with them and never had any confirmation of the cancellation.

Now, 7 months later, we get a letter stating that we owe them $133.95 and if payment is not rec'd within 10 days of the date of the letter, it will be sent to a collection agency. Funny, the letter also says the the "due date" is March 31, even though ten days after the date of the letter would be March 27 (letter is dated March 17).

After looking up this company and products online, I can't believe how many similar complaints I've run across. They must have sent out a mass mailing around the beginning of March. There should be some type of class-action lawsuit.
