A man called me and said his name was James Anderson and he was an officer and that a company had a claim on me and I asked him what the company name was and he keep telling me that he was an officer and that a officer was coming to my house and arrest me. So I told him I had no idea what he was talking about and to go ahead and send the officer.    He had been calling my boss and been harssing her and she told them that she was going to file an  claim on them and all they keep telling her was they would she her in court. The last call I got was 3 weeks ago and I told him I was filing harmess claim on him. And the called stopped until November 30. I got  another call and they have left the same message again that they had a claim on me. He has left 3 message and today(12-1) is the last message.  Today (12-1) they are calling my friend now telling her they need to get in touch with me. I told her not to take anymore calls from them.

I check my bank everyday and so far nothing has been done to my account. But I'm getting sick and tired of these calls and they need to stop.

#3 Consumer Suggestion

Educate yourself on the law, and your rights, then do this

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, December 02, 2010

First of all, nobody in the United States of America goes to jail for failure to pay consumer debt. You are most likely being called by someone not even in this country using a voip connection with a spoofed number.

Second, Nobody can just take money from your bank account without your explicit authorization, or a court order. That's it. This means they would have had to sue you and won, and then got a judgement, and then a garnishment order.

Obviously, the first step here in enforcing your rights under the law is to establish the TRUE identity of the caller and/or the company.

You need to file a police report for the harassment, and then take that police report to your phone company so they can put a trap on your phone, and relay the info to law enforcement.

Or, the next time these people call, tell them you need to verify who they are before you do anything else. DEMAND a copy of thier license to do debt collections and verification of a physical business address which matches a business license, as well as a listed business telephone number. Make them understand that NONE of this is optional.

Once you verify who they are, you need to send a CEASE COMMUNICATIONS request as per your rights under federal law [FDCPA].

Send this letter via CERTIFIED MAIL / RETURN RECIEPT REQUESTED. Be sure to put the certified# somewhere in the body of the letter and keep a copy for your records. This proves exactly what you sent.

Now, when they contact you after reciept of your legal demand, they are in violation of FEDERAL LAW, and YOU are entitled to recover damages. This is worth up to $1000 in statutory damages, plus costs.

My favorite is to just answer the phone and wait for them to start blabbering in broken english, and then I sharply blow a whistle in the ear of the offending crackhead. The satisfaction of the picture in my mind of a crackhead slumped over in a cubicle with blood running out where eardrums used to be is priceless.

Get satisfaction.

The next time this man calls  tell him this

A really bad curse has been put on you  If you continue to call this # the curse will get stronger and stringer and you will die a horrible death.

Tell him if he wants this removed it will cost 500 million dollars and he has 24 hours to come up with it or the hex stays with him for the rest of his life

Two can play that game!

AUTHOR: Lesley Wolfgang Jackson - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, December 01, 2010

The next time they call tell them to go fut themselves.  Better yet, if they have an 800 number you can play games with them, on their dime.  If you dont already have it, tell them you need to call them back and get it.  Then call alot during business hours and waste their time, when they get their fone bill, theyll leave you alone...
