Americredit reneges on agreements, they are disgusting, immoral and unethical ripoff Arlington Texas

My child was diganoised with liver cancer 2 years ago. My work was inconsistant do to his treatments, and making ends meet was difficult. Knowing the hardship I was going through, his cancer doctor, the director of the Ronald McDonald Foundation and a Social Worker wrote letters to my creditors asking that have some compassion and show me leniency during this time. My vehicle was financed through Americredit and very important to me because I have to travel over 250 miles for his treatments.

The last 2 years I have had no problems with Americredit. At one time I was 90 days behind. I have always been up front and honest with Americredit. I know I'm not their best customer with my payments late and inconsistant, but I never lied to them. Then, without any warning, my vehicle was repossessed. I had worked out an agreement with Americredit, but I guess they changed their mind and forgot to tell me.

Now I had to pay thousands before I could get it back. I had 10 days to do this. On the 9th day, I had the money sent to them through "Western Union Quick Collect" before 2pm as they required. They did not send a release to the tow company and when I asked Americredit why, they said it wouldn't be processed until the following day.

Now I am being charged another $25 at the towing facility for a grand total of $500! Why would Americredit take my payment but not release my vehicle until the next day? Seems very unfair. THey have full knowledge of how important transpertation is to me and now I feel like they are playing with my emotions. They are rude and heartless.
