I can't stress enough what a horrible company Apple is and how they completely fail to stand behind their products. I purchased a MacBook Pro Retina 15" and it has been the epitome of a lemon. The logic board was replaced four times and the screen was replaced once. The screen had the dreaded "burn-in" effect that has thousands of complaints even on Apple's own forums and the logic board has various problems like defective thunderbolt ports, overheating, defective GPU, etc.
What was really incredible though was Apple's incompetence in repairing the problem and their unwillingness to simply replace a an obvioulsy faulty product. Each and every time they took well over a week to repair and each and every time it failed in a different way in short order after they returned. When I complained for a new computer they gave some excuse about "Apple policy to replace only after 3 unsuccesful repairs" - after 3 repairs came and went suddenly they had never heard of that "policy".
After hte fourth repair the computer only lasted a couple of days. When I returned it they claimed it was "out of warranty" and that were going to fix it one more time as a one time exception.
