ASC - America's Servicing Company Report my mortgage as deliquent for 60 or more days and charge additional monies for some sort of escrow account? Ripoff Des Moines Iowa

ASC has been my mortgage lender since 07 /2006. Within the last two month ASc is attempting to report my mortgage as delinquent for the lst two months. I have comfirmations and bank statements stating that the payments were made in timely manner. They show record of paying , but have not posted payment , but the bank statement shows a ACH payment.

I was contact on the 17th of July from a company out of Seattle Wa., stating that they were contact by this company to state that my mortgage is 2 month delinquent. But if I paid the extra $200 or so extra money that they would release the delinquentcy? The only paymmnet that they do not have is the July 2007 payment, because I am in the process of refinancing the loan. But if a loan dicision is not made my friday , I will make the payment for July.

Is it legal for a mortgage company or any company to do this to the consumer. To hold one payment past the the 15th and collect a late fee? Why doe our government allow these mortgage company to treat the consumer so bad, is there any help available to fight such criminal activity?
