They sent me a letter claiming I owed over $2000 for a Citibank debt over 18 years old. They threatened to file a judgment in my current county that I live in. This is illegal as the debt is no longer collectible and is not my debt in the first place. I reported them to the Chicaco BBB and replied to them disputing the debt and pointing out to them that on ripoff report.com they were reported as having had several name changes to their company due to them being sued for illegal business practices.
I noticed that there was a rebuttal to another ripoff report about them saying not to confuse them with other collection agencies in schaumburg illinois and the rebuttal was by the owner of the company!
