 Attention Assurance Wireless Customers !  My money has been taken by this company long enough ! I have read complaints here on this website and I too have an issue. Before I tell you my store, the first thing one should do if the complaint is with Assurance Wireless is to file an online complaint with the FCC. I just did and it took 3 minutes. It beats spending 25 minutes with an Assurance Wireless Rep and wasting your time. If enough of us devote just 3 minutes filing with the FCC we may be able to secure a class action suitfiled on our behalf or at least have the company fined for unfair practices.

My issue is with dropped calls that have occured here in Jacksonville FL for the last 6 months & when you complain you secure lip service. The company states they are aware of the problem and it has to do with faulty towers, but wont give you any credit. Instead because of the minutes they have stolen, you have to purchase at least $5.00 ( company minimum ) of additional time. I have had 26 dropped calls this month. Multiply that by .10C a minute and over a 6 month period it adds up to about $15. Now $15 is not a lot of money but lets multiply that by the 100's of thousands in just Jacksonville alone and you can see where I am heading. Not only is the company providing unfair services, they systematically take your minutes away by providing poor maintance on their telephone system towers by the dropped calls but also make you pay for additional time because of this and if you dont use the additional minutes you lose them at the end of your billing cycle even though you paid for them !

So file your complaints with the FCCand get this company to at least be fair in their billing policies and perhaps an attorney may help us if we can get enough complaints determining how widespread this is happening.
