Autumn Ridge Nursery Beware of dead plants and NO customer service at all. Company has to be a scam! McMinnville Tennessee

My Father placed an order in June, 2008. When the "trees" arrived, they looked like dead twigs. I called Autumn Ridge Nursery and was told to do a scratch test.

Performed the scratch test and 7 out of 10 trees were dead. I called the company again. They sent a paper to be filled out. Their guarantee is NO guarantee. They refuse to believe that their twigs are dead or are the wrong twigs. Their guarantee is that they will pay 1/2 of the original purchase price plus only $2.50 shipping and handling. At least that is what was on that piece of paper.

But, the deal of the guarantee is that the company refuses to deal with you, the paying customer, even after you contact them with the form. I explained that when the twigs arrived, they were already dead. No response from the company at all. I requested a refund...no response.

I contacted the BBB in TN. They sent many notices to this company. The company responded with their lame guarantee...no personal note to an unhappy customer...just the guarantee. They REFUSE to refund any monies for dead plants.

I responded to the BBB that their guarantee was not fair considering the "trees" were dead upon arrival. I wanted a refund. The BBB sent notice to the company again and to this day, they have not responded.

Therefore, a report has been made with the BBB that will stay on their record for 3 years. Stay away from this company. Once they get your money, they do not care about you from that point on.
