Bluefly.com sells Ripoff fake replica handbags Martinsville Virginia

Bluefly.com is an online store that claims they sell 100% authentic designer goods. I know for a fact that this is not true. I recently ordered a Balenciaga handbag from Bluefly.com. The handbag in question retails for $1195.00 and is difficult to find in certain colors. Even though the picture shown of the bag was questionable, I went ahead and ordered it as Bluefly.com guarentees the authenticity of their merchandise.

The handbag arrived today via UPS. Upon opening the package, I knew right away that the bag was a replica; a poorly made one at that. I own two authentic Balenciaga bags so naturally after inspection I could tell that the bag was fake. The leather was wrong, the hardware was wrong, and the color was wrong.

I immediatly contacted Bluefly.com. The CSR simply said to send it back for a refund if I was not satisfied. Prior to ordering the handbag, I have read other consumer's stories of receiving fake merchandise from Bluefly.com. I knew there was a chance of receiving a fake handbag, but that was a chance I was willing to take, as I have been a satisfied customer of Bluefly.com in the past.

I know of other people who have contacted Bluefly.com (not only their customer service department but their corporate headquarters as well), only to be told that their merchandise was authentic and that they were standing by it. I feel it is important for consumers to know that this "reputable" company not only sends out fake handbags, but that they continue to sell the returned merchandise even after complaints of authenticity.

I took several digital pictures of the handbag in question, along with my receipt from Bluefly.com. I would be happy to share it with anyone that is interested.
