Me and my new bride got married on july 4th 2016 and we used www.bookit.com to book our honeymoon to hawaii, where we have never been before. To start with the airport canceled a plane and sent bookit a email so they could ajust their clients resevstions and we never got notified. I just happen to call airlines to check our flights and found out about flight cancilation. i called bookit and they said they never got an email from airline and it wasnt their problem to fix resevstions since airport canceled plane. it was their job since we paid bookit, airport told us only bookit could make changes. After 5 hours on the phone finially got it fixed so i thought. 4 fays before we were to leave hawaii to go back home i checked our tickets and found out that our departure date was never changed. we paid for 9 days in hawaii and after another 5 hours on the phone with bookit they said they did nothing wrong and that it wasnt their job to fix the resevations, even though the airport supervisors said bookit was the only ones to fix it since they were paid for the package. the supervisor at bookit told the operator that bookit was not willing to he us and that was it period. We ended up having to shorten our trip/honeymoon and that was very sad. All i wanted was for bookit to accept responsibility saying we messed up and sorry. Me and my wife were very upset because all bookit would do was place blame on everybody else except themselves. Me and my wife pray that no other couple has to experiance this situation expecislly on their honeymoon so PLEASE do not use bookit.com. If i was asked what they should do to make this right i really dont know because how do you fix a mess up of this magnitude on our first honeymoon. Compatsation is deserved in my and my wifes eyes and ill do all i can to make sure we get it and that nobody else has to put up with a company that is so irresponsible and unwilling to accept responsibility for their short comings and lack of care or compassion for their customers.
