Brandsmart
USA Christmas started early for my kids due to my work schedule. My sons favorite toy he received was a helicopter from Brandsmart. He took it outside and placed it on the ground and was going to fly it but only revved it up before deciding to go in to get his jacket. As the helicopter propellers slowed it fell over and the counterweight broke off. He never even got it off the ground. I took it back to the store and the manager acted as if she had an attitude and told me that it had physical damage and they could not do anything. I became very angry and told her that I had bought many things at thier store and if thats the way they want to do I would never shop there again. She told me she would get her other manager and see what he would do and said that I would have to have a little more respct for her if I wanted to get credit. It made me feel like if I kiss ker butt in other words I would maybe get my money back for buying the faulty product they ripped me off for. This is so stupid. The other manager comes out and tells me right away that they can not do anything for me and then they have the police
watch me to make sure I leave the property. That should have been a clue I guess. How many stores have a police car parked in the front of it every hour that the store is open. Also the way the return area is seperated from the rest of the store so no one can actually see the disgruntled consumers when the ignorant managers tell the people they are not going to do anything for them, and yes I had the receipt. This was my sons favorite present but now he is crushed.

Physical damage return?

So you want to trash Brandsmart because you purchased a product, it fell over while in YOUR control and custody and it broke, and the manager at Brandsmart told you that since it had sustained physical damage, they could not take it back? If you buy a car, drive it home, park in your driveway, get out really quick to check your mailbox but forget to put it in park....and the car rolls back and hits a tree...do you think the dealership should take any responsibility for the damage to your car? Are you serious?
Granted, Brandsmart has a terrible reputation for warranty work, return policy and a host of other things but lady....what world do you live in that you think a business should give YOU money back for an item that YOU are responsible for breaking? You are exactly what is wrong with America today.
