I bough a ticket for my girlfriend to fly from Amsterdam to Sweden. When buying the ticked I checked the box "purchasing for a 3rd party" so she would be able to use the ticket at the airport without having to present the card it was purcahsed with. She arrived at the airport and they wouldn't let her use the boarding pass. We worked with British Airways to return the ticket I purchased on my credit card and she purchased a new ticket at the airport.

My girlfriend bought the new ticket on her card and I was guaranteed a refund within 7 days. This seemed fine to me. However, the refund was never issued. I have called and spoken to customer service 7 times since this incident and I still don't have my refund. I have wasted so much time on the phone with them being told they are "escalating". Plus, every time I call I have to pay long distance phone charges.

It has been 7 weeks since this incident and I need my money back. This is unbelievably frustrating and unprofessional for a company to operate like this. It is a simple transaction and story. The ticket was paid for twice, refund one.
