I purchased a Hannspree TV on Buy.com for $899.00, but only because they offered a $200 consumer rebate. Buy.com now claims that they don't have to honor the rebate because they outsourced another company to redeem it, and that company (Connect 3D) is now going out of business.

I contacted Buy.com and they gave me a $10 voucher to use on future purchases! They can be assured they will never get my business again!

I contacted Hannspree and they told me Buy.com is where I need to go with my problem. Do not trust Buy.com! The rebate was through them, not the TV manufacturer, and they should honor the offers!

I went to the Better Business Bureau...buy.com still refused to honor their committment. Next is Small Claims Court!
