We purchased a nearly new (8000 miles) 2005 Minnie Winnebago 26 at Camping World in Oakwood, GA in March 2009. In May we opened the cab over forward curtains for the first time and discovered that the right front window was leaking into the double pane insulation space and the window was badly fogged. You could not see this with the curtains closed. I started trying to contact the salesperson, Mr. Dave Hofferber. My e-mails were ignored. After some weeks, and after many unreturned calls, I finally reached Dave on his cell phone. He said he would look into how they might help us get this repaired and call me. No calls came and after numerous unreturned calls again, I finally caught up with him at the end of June. I was told they would do nothing, because used RVs are sold as is and they are thoroughly checked out before delivery. There is no doubt that this window was leaking when we took delivery and had I seen it then, I would have demanded it be fixed or no sale. At the time of delivery, they stated that if we had any problems, we should just call them. In addition to this not being discovered in the "thorough checkout before delivery" there was no tire jack, no holding tank drain hose and the rear tires had not been checked since manufacture. There were no valve stem extensions and it was impossible to check tire pressures or to add air as verified by a local tire dealer. I paid $100.00 to have this corrected.

It is going to cost me at least $1500.00 to repair this window and I'm not happy. I would give Camping World service an F and I intend to share this story with many other RV owners. I thought Camping World was a reputable place, but buyers beware. I'm sure you won't publish this but I'll send copies to Corporate and others
