Capital One Credit Card Agree with others on Capital One RIPOFF Richmond Virginia

If Capital One sends you a pre-approved card, do not use it. These people charge tons of interest, way above normal and all sorts of fees. Their billing cycle is not 30 days but more like 20. I did not receive my monthly bill and knew it was due. I called to find out it was past due and spoke to a Customer Service rep (from India not the USA--Capital One has out sourced jobs to India).

I had a difficult time communicating with this person since english was not his native language. I tried to explain that I had not received my monthly bill which he found "impossible". I guess since he is not a US citizen he cannot comprehend the possibility of the US postal system having a break down. Anyway, I was paying the balance in full and need to get an address to send the check. The customer service rep advised that even though I was pro-active and called them to inquire about a missing payment AND was paying off the balance (some $5,000 plus) in full he was STILL going to ding my credit history with a report of over 30 days late.

It is the policy of Capital One to report ALL over 30 days late to all national credit reporting systems regardless of reasons and without notification to the credit card customer. Capital One is a rip-off.
