Carparts.com Sent incorrect part - blamed customer for their error, refused to pay for return shipping Internet
I purchased a front bumper cover for a 2004 Honda Accord via carparts.com, the price for the part was less expensive than most sites, I have an e-mail confirming the correct part was ordered, plus the $40 to ship the product.
When the product arrived, it was the bumper cover for a 2012 Honda Civic. I called the call center located in India where the female said the following inappropriate sexist statements, aside from just dumb.
"you should have had your husband order this, not you"
"you cant use this bumper anyways?"
They also continued to tell me how this was my mistake, my error, and so on... Mind you, I still have the original e-mail showing that I ordered the "correct" part.
After I was told that they would not pay for my to reship the item, and that they will need to review the product multiple times before processing a receitp,. Now, if I need to pay to ship a BUMPER FOR A CAR back, I'm out more money than I initially spent, and dont break even with the receipt.
This company is a complete scam with horrific overseas customer service. avoid at all costs!!
