CBCS Of Ohio; CBCS; CBCN Intimidating collector calling for small debt. Columbus Nationwide

We get Calls from CBCS and CBCN on a weekly basis, sometimes daily basis. Sometimes intimidating, sometimes not. Bob Jones is one name but there are others.

It is about a Lane Bryant account overdue about 5 years ago. We have dealt with the company and paid half of the $200 but the other charges were disputed. This agengy is at least the second or third layer of collections agencies that have called. No letters sent, just phone calls, constantly.

I know it is a small amount but we just spent 1 1/2 with another debt collector involving a law suit and finally got the lawsuit dismissed without paying. If the CBCS agency had been the only one, I wouldn't complain but we have been battling debt collectors for over 5 years. I do not want this kind of misery for others to suffer through. It took a toll on our health, physical and mental. We never received damages for the $3000 plus we paid preparing for trial- for expert etc. Thank you for listening.
