Cohen Fashion Optical Cohen's Shame Shame Shame on Cohen's Fashion Optical! Elizabeth New Jersey

I went to Jersey Gardens Mall to get my glasses CLEANED, not fixed or adjusted, at Cohen's (where I bought my glasses in the first place) and the associate broke my glasses?!? The manager said they could crazy glue them back together for me or that I should just buy a whole new pair which i didn't even need!

It wasn't until I put my friend on the phone she offered 50% offbut the point is, she BROKE THEM and i don't think i should have to pay for something that was not my fault. The manager told me there were signs posted all over the store with their "At your own risk" policy. However, I have pictures to prove that there was only one sign in a small corner behind a rack of glasses..and the sign wasn't even the size of a sheet of paper!

I proceeded to call the corporate office to explain the situation and they were shockingly rude and unhelpful. The lady who picked up the phone said she was the manager and that each store is independently owned and there was nothing the company could do. She claimed she was the only one I could talk to and that no one would be able to tell me differently. I was very upset and offended because I really think they took advantage of me.

In summary, DO NOT BUY GLASSES FROM COHEN'S FASHION OPTICAL!!
