I completed my pre-hire paperwork 12/15/2014.  Thereafter, I began to study for my insurance license while living in Louisiana with some relatives. The recruiter by the name of Terry told me that as soon as I am out of sales school and have my license activated I will get my first check of over 1, 000.  I attended sales school 1/9/15 in Chicago, IL. I moved out to Dallas with no home nor car and informed Terry this.  I met a girl in Dallas which I lived with a few days and she stole the company's ipad and my clothes.  I contacted Terry and Skylar about this and they acted as if it was a personal problem.  I called and reported to Combined in Illinois and the local city police.  I was told that my marketing manager was suppose to report this to the police.  I told them again I am out here in Dallas homeless.  They never provided a ride or hotel accomodations for me during all this torment.  It really shows how much the company care for the well being of their employers.  Before I went to school skylar went to jail and Krystal told me not to tell the new guy that had just started working with combined about the situation .  A BIG problem.  Krystal takes us to a business gain a new customer for combines.  During the application process with the client, Krystal tells the owner to lie about his correct age to cut costs on insurance.  Now this was even before I attended sales schools.  FRAUD and secrets.  What happens if later on someone says I knew about this fraud application and did not say anything about it or even blames it on me?  So against my moral values-NO honesty.  Skylar as the marketing manager should have admitted that to the Combined insurance team about him going to jail-as he was on the job when it happend.  I told Terry and she said they are not bad people.  Well, I never said he was a bad guy to go to jail but I did think that the new guy and the other team members should know the truth of what was going on with the MANAGER.  Manager set examples for the team-good and honest ones.  After I told Terri how I felt about those two situations,  I didnt hear back from Terri and Skylar for 2 months. I was out in dallas the first week in January until March with no source of income or home.   I had my license active on March 4, 2015.  Skylar EMAILED me I can begin work on 3/17/2015 as I had been coded then.I was given a $300 check on 3/17/2015.  I didn't even receive all my money after all the stress, homelessness, and hidden faults of the management team. There is no way to contact upper level management from the given 1800 contact online. I even reached out to a Chicago recruiter so I can begin work with my TEXAS insurace license.  I got one response telling me to contact skylar.  Skylar emailed me after 2 months of me telling Terry about him going to jail and my ipad was stolen.  Why do I need to contact Skylar again?  So unproffessional...No phone call from him because he and Terry wants to get me fired I guess.  I know too much about the fraud within the Dallas management team.   I can not use my insurance license with any other company because they have me bound to a contract.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Why jail for Skylar?

AUTHOR: Gypsy - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, May 17, 2015

Hello Alabama,

I can relate to this experience and my heart goes out to you for this horrible experience.  You mentioned that Skylar went to jail from a client site.  Why was he arrested or picked up?

Thanks!!
