Compass Bank Compass Bank is a ripoff with their NSF charges Houston Texas

I made a debit purchase for $9.89 from Krogers on July 30, 2007. There was a little over $12 and some change in my account at the time. Since I used my card as a debit and entered my pin number the money was taken out of my account immediately which left me around about 2 or 3 dollars left in my account.

Tuesday July 31, 2007, I had a deposit of $60 dollars credited to my account. That evening my wife and I went to Wal-Mart and used our card as a debit again and entering our pin number, made a purchase for $50.73. I was taken my account immediately once again because I used my card as debit.

I went home and checked my account and there was a little over $14 and some change left in my account. A Chevron purchase for $15.01 went through and my account was short some change an NSF fee of $38 was charged to my account which I totally understand. What Compass Bank did to me was charge me two more NSF charges for the two debit purchases from Krogers and Wal-Mart that was drawn from my account immediately the day I made those purchases.

That was a total ripoff and I told a Supervisor by the name of Darryl that this was not right. I've heard many a people talk about how banks are charging false NSF fees to make a profit and now it's happening to me. Compass Bank should not be allowed to do business.
