Compass Bank Compass bank turns on small business owners Trussville Alabama

If you are thinking of opening or have a compass bank business account beware of bad business practices. On any given day they may decided to change or enforce a rule that's never been enforced or documented anywhere on policy literature. I am a small bus owner (contractor) that gets paid by an out of state agency. After 9 months of the same checks with different amounts from the same company compass decided to start holding (5 business day hold) on my business check because they are out of state. I never received a bad check from this fortune 500 company or had a bad account standing with compass bank. I was a customer for 10 years with compass until they decided out of the blue to enforce this rule. I have 5 employees that was unable to receive pay and many other things that was paid late because of this new enforcement. I went into compass bank and closed both business accounts promptly and reopened them at a reputable bank down the road. Now after compass bank failed to close my account it is 550 over drawn from mostly 38.00 overdraft fees. Now they have a recording that calls my house all hours of the day and night and on sat and sun morning starting at 8:00.
