I had the pleasure to speak to 3 different representatives of CPS today. One of which was suppose to be the supervisor by the name of Brandi. They have been calling me couple times a day for the last week.

The situation being that I was laid-off for 4 months and informed CPS that I was. I got behind, but made them up. I received a statement stating that I owed $196.04 in service fees and when trying to obtain the correct information, I received different information from 4 sources.

When I was contacted today and the young man stating to me that I still owed them $232.04. I informed them that he was incorrect and not only to explain to me where he got that figure from but also to explain the service.

As he proceeded to try to tell me that it came from late fees and a NSF, I promptly interrupted him that in was incorrect. When he could not explain it to me, he attempted to put his supervisor on the phone. She respond by asking me what could she do for me.

I asked her to explain all of this to me and she went into that there were 2 late fees of $17.20, I stated ok..explain the remaining amount to me. I informed her that as of August 20, 2007, my account was current. She stated that the late fees went back to March.

I told her that I have pulled all of my bank statements starting from March until now with every payment that I have made to CPS. She continue to tell me that I owe them an additional $232.00. Well, I must say CPS is in for a rude awakening; they will not get another dime except for my car payment due in November until I receive a detail breakdown of all items.

By the way, when they called me they stated that they were calling from their office here in Dallas, TX. Does anyone know it they have an office here?
