After purchasing a notebook for nearly $700, it simply died. It was refurbished, but the ecomelectronics.com company where I was buying insisted that the free three year warrenty would cover everything inlluding S/H if I ever needed to fix it.
In the morning it worked perfectly. I left it sitting on my bed, closed in sleep mode and in the afternoon it had a screen that was all colored lines like the matrix.

My calls to the seller were met with cheerful info re how to reach CVS who would take care of everything. The woman there took all of my info and promised to have someone email me with further instructions in two days. That email never came and I did not remember the name of the company except CPS and there are lots of businesses with those initials.

When I tried to email ecomelectroinics their address would instantly change into something like, "youwantitwesendit." The email would be sent back as not deliverable. I left a number on a voice mail and did not get an answer.

Finally I got through and was cheerfully told, "you are so lucky to have gotten me because I just happen to have the number of Woody the manager of Customer Service at CPS." That gave it away. Like a used car salesman.

Woody proved he sent email from "cs"----lowercase sender address! Who would open that. It was not even CPS. So I now have to wait two days for them to acknowledge that I completed two more steps today. I sent a copy of my ID number and my invoice.
I wonder what happens next. Stay tuned
