Covenant Transport Ripoff thieves liars and pigs Chattanooga Tennessee

I started working for Covenant Transport 16 months ago. Even though I had 6 previous years experience as an owner-operator, they insisted that I go through the training period.

They teamed me with my EX-HUSBAND for 41 days, even though I had an order of protection out against him. I informed them that I had been beaten by him, that's why I had the order in the first place. No one was listening to me! (Imagine that!) Anyway, we went out for about 36 days, when we were at the Love's Truck Stop in St. Joseph, MO, my WONDERFUL ex-husband punched me in the mouth! On the Covenant truck! One of the 10 unmentionable things that this so-called Christian company says you can not do, is fighting on company property.

You know what they did to him? NOTHING!! As far as I know, he is still working for them!

Since then, I have run solo and team for them. At least every other week, I owe them money, because even as a team, my partner and I are lucky if we make 3000 miles in a week. We have received detention pay one time, in the last six months. And, after delivery, we sit for 38-46 hours, then we are dispatched on another load. Might pick up the next evening, but because we were dispatched of it, NO layover pay.

We are broke! And, do you think that they will pay me the almost $1200 in safety and retention bonus that I have earned in the last quarter? HELL NO! I am a single parent with a five year old son. I waited until after December 31st to take personal leave, to buy a house for me and my son. I was told as long as I worked through December 31st, I would get my bonus. I worked until January 2nd. They still won't pay me!!

Do you think that I will ever let a company talk me into leaving my son again? With the promise of a better life, better money? Never again! I will never believe what they say again, for that I am thankful. Other than that, I hope the FBI finds all that they can, and I hope Covenant Transport and David Parker get what they deserve. Christian Company, my eye!!
