We lived in the Curtis Properties apts in Redlands.CA for over 2 years. We loved it and the managers were great.

When we moved out, we left the property BETTER than when we moved in - my SO is handy and took care of some things so Tim wouldn't have to. Tim was delighted and said it would be NO problem for us to get our deposit back. We worked closely with him/management to make SURE we would get our deposit back because we needed the money.

That was over a year ago. We have written, emailed and called NUMEROUS times and NOTHING. No response, no answers, NOTHING. We have gone back to the apts to talk to the managers and every time they tell us they called, they submitted, blah blah but still NOTHING. Researchin g the internet tells us this is what they do - ignore ignore ignore. Off to court we are going! A small claims suit is filed -0 let's see them ignore that.

Just be warned - if you want your deposit back, it will take a lot of hard work. If it doesn't matter - don't worry about cleaning your apt - make them do it. And if you manage their apts, they will fire you without warning and for no apparent reason. They did it to the managers who were there when we moved in...
