I received (4) text messages from #41463 on 12/07/08. The messages concern news, music, and game cheat alerts offered at a minimum of 5 per month for cost of $9.99 per month.

I did not respond to the text and all 4 were deleted immediately. Later, I was charged $9.99 on 12/07/08 to my Virgin Mobile phone but was unaware I was charged until later.

Fast foward to 01/11/09. Before paying my current monthly bill I checked my cash account at Virgin Mobile and then found the 12/07/08 charge and also another charge of $9.99 charged to my account earlier in the day on 01/11/09.

I then went to info-text-alert.com and cancelled the subscripton of which I did not want and never agreed to use or pay for. Shortly therafter I received an email from this site notifying me my subscripton was cancelled.

On 01/12/09, I finally got a live person at Virgin Mobile and after 60+ minutes and (5) individuals (4 who identified themselves as the supervisor of the previous person I had spoke with) I was told this was my last stop, and that I would not receive a refund on the two charges, nor would they guarantee it would not happen again. The lady said she understood my complaint and dilemma but that she was only doing her job and could or would not do anything more.

Virgin Mobile and other cell phone companies are part of this scam (albeit willingly or unwillingly) and will do absolute nothing to protect their customers who employed them for cell phone services.

I will cancel the Virgin Mobile account as well as the phone number and obtain new service and phone number from another company.
