I checked my verizon wireless bill today and noticed a $9.99 data/text charge. I called *611 on my wireless and asked about that charge. the CSR informed me it was a subscription fee from dada.net and he gave me the number to cancel the subscription.
I called the number 888-214-0381 which requires to be called on the billed mobile phone. I followed the prompts to unsubscribe and called back to get my charges refunded. My name and mailing address was required for refund to be mailed. my email address was also requested for their billing. hopefully it isn't sold to bulk spammers.
Apparently, when trying to download a free ring tone online (which failed to download) the requester automatically subscribes to their service.
i will update if i receive or don't receive my refund.
