Direct Tv ripoff Because of lousy service I tried to terminate They said can we just suspend it while you think I had a $21 credit and for 4 months had credit statements Called in july to fully terminate and get $21 credit back Never came but statement saying $19 credit Baltimor Maryland

April 04 I called to terminate direct tv due to lousy service. I had a $21 credit and for the next 3 statements it shoed as a $21 credit. Called early July to terminate totally and get $21 back, they said a check would arrive 5-7 days later. No check arrived but a statement showing a $19 credit (reduced by $2).

I called and a supervisor (thats what he said anyway) he apologised and said a check would arrive-no check again. Called again 8-9-04 and again an apology and said the full $21 would be sent out. Still no check today is 8-20-04 and each time I call they ask for the phone number, then they say a supervisor will pick up within 7 minutes. I spent 45 minutes on hold, 3 times people picked up only to be told they were not supervisors and couldnt help.

Its only $21 but its the principle. Who else has been a victim of this scam purely because I no longer wanted to be a customer.

Can any body help, its a principle thing. I have already spent hours on this and if my time was billed out they'd owe me $100s.

I'll NEVER go back to Direct tv.
