Direct TV Charges you for early cancellation despite cancelling during 1 month free trial Greenwood Village Colorado

I have a problem with DIRECT TV. I got a coupon online from an affiliate/subcontractor for Direct TV called Cannon Satellite offering a free Trial offer, no risk! one month free coupon. Find below the link:

When the installers came with the cable boxes I told them specifically that I was going by their own word that I could cancel any time if I did not want the product because I had been told that rain and bad weather could interfere with the signal.

Lo and behold it rained the very next day and we lost our signal.

I got the service on October 29, 2007. Since I had the 30 day trial offer I called and cancelled in November 29, 2007. The agent told me that it was okay and that all I needed to do was send back the equipment.

This was not true at all. Direct TV is now charging me 204.57 dollars for early termination.

I contacted the Better Busines Bureau of California who told me to send a fax of this offer letter to them. They told me they would forward this same information to Direct TV.

Direct TV responded that as soon as they got the fax, they would take off the charges.

For some reason they refuse to accept the fact that both BBB and I have sent over 5 faxes to two different numbers which they themselves provided: ( 877) 580 - 2148 and (208) 363 - 6444.

I dont want this company to ruin my credit by calling this a write off on my account when it is not. They misled me to getting the service while neglecting to tell me that this offer was bogus.
They are misleading,egregious and I would like your help in getting this matter resolved. Thank you in advance.
