Where to start, Okie Ive been a customer of Direct TV since May of 04, So I called in December to dispute a charge on my bill, They agreed it was a mistake and was fixed......I pay the amount they say on the account
which says we owe 77 dollars and some change.......I get the next on line bill which now says we owe 203. dollars and some change, This was on Jan 2nd, I was having Heart surgery on Jan 5th in Pittsburgh Pa.

So not wanting to deal with the BS I submit 203 and some change.......I get a pop up that says this site is down for repairs no moneys have been taken from your account Please try again later......Maybe an hour later I get to thinking, I don't owe them 203. so I'm gonna pay 100.00 cause now it says I owe 89.21, I submit 100 dollars and get the same message as before, I get to thinking and figure heck with it.....It says I owe 89.21 so I pay 89.21 and still get the same pop up message....I wait awhile and try 89.21 and bingo I get an E-Mail saying they received 89.21 thanks for my payment.....

My wife says sure hope they don't take all that money from our account, So to make her feel better I call Direct TV....And sure enough they have taken 481.42 from the account, They were very sorry and they would make a complete refund in 3 to 5 days....My wife checks our account on the 5th and they have refunded one 89.21 payment... So I call again on the 6th......were very sorry, you will have a complete refund....Its after 5 here so they said it would be refunded the next day.....

Meantime a week goes by and nothing, My wife has called them my daughter has called them and each time there sorry it will be replaced, Meantime Jan 15th comes and the next bill is due, I call them and they tell me I have a 203.00 credit......Excuse me I never gave authorization to take any moneys from the account, I write them an e-mail demanding they put my money back from where they stole it from, I receive an e-mail back saying 10 business days from the 14th it would be refunded.......

This is the 23 of Jan and another bill will come out on the 27th, This is a crock of sh*t, I'm totally disabled and had to borrow money to put in the account to keep from bouncing the account......Do I have any rights here..??? I paid them faithfully for almost 5 years and they steal and keep My money?????

Oh and They gave us 3 free months of show time, but dont forget to cancel it after 90 days or I'll be charged from then on....

We'll after Sending an E-mail to the CEO I recieved a call from that office Sat. Evening....Sorry cant remember the guys name an title....Anyway he said a refund would be recieved Monday when that department that handels those things would open.....I recieved a refund today, only took 25 days....To tell ya the truth I think there all about the same.....

Okie My daughter called Direct TV, (She worries about dad too much)
Anywho the lady was very nice (as compared to the last one, My daughter asked for a supervisor and got disconnected twice now)
297.00 over paid will be returned within 3 to 5 days...We'll See!!!


I don't see why they would risk losing a customer of 5 years buy
not returning Money they took by mistake, I mean come on I pay
them every month and to take and not return our money just
makes no sense what so ever....
