DIRECT TV ripped me off, claimed I had a contract...I didn't, I had an agreement with ATT , who contracted with Direct tv, however, ATT is NOT helping me at all! Direct tv got a hold of my credit card number, and 6 months after I disconnected with att, direct tv, stole $1078. from my account, for their service and contract fee's, assumably because att didn't pay them....

I however was NEVER under an agreement with DIRECT TV!, Direct tv is a very dishonest company and they have outright stolen from me! I was wondering how many others would like to join a class action with me to stop them from this theft behavior? They tell me I can have my $ back if I actually sign an agreement with them, holding my money hostage ...literally! PLeae feel free to lmk if you need representation, this CANNOT HAPPEN ANYMORE!!!

I NEVER has a contract with direct tv-ever, i had gotten services through att because they contracted with direct tv for there residential customers wherever they couldn't service us with uverse....I was very disattisfied with att's part of the triple bundle so I had 90 days to get my installation $ back and end my agreement with att, I did just that, I called att 63 days into our 90 day agreement, and told them to cancel all of it..., att cancelled my services that they provided directly, then direct tv did not, so I called them, they said we had a final bill so I paid them, there were other issues about price n so forth, that att screwed up ,too, and direct tv told me that att HAD to notify them of our cancellation, because their contract was with ATT to provide our service, I called ATT, they said they would handle it, we took out the equipment and went back to comcast services, then we got the 1078.+ charge to our account in January..(that whole deal w att n directtv was in August), they told me that they had my credit card number on file because we paid our last bil directly to them, and they told us that they ALWAYS keep customers cc numbers on file....they just don't tell them that!crazy crooked! and since we didn't owe them any money...they DID STEAL OUR $!!!! do you work for direct tv? Imean they seem to have done this too alot of people but you seem to have focused on me....so for the record, I do pay my bills, I do honor actual contracts and terms,AND I WOULD NEVER take DIRECT TV for a legimate company again....also, for the record.....they DID tell me if I would sign a contract, a could get my $ back...so yah, I feel they held my $ hostage! The only person hiding anything is DIRECT TV!!!

I would bet you WERE under a two year contract with Direct TV...

How did Direct TV "get a hold" of your credit card number?
Is the reason AT&T didn't pay Direct TV because YOU didn't pay AT&T?

Good plan, the old "class action."

The definition of a class action is the attorneys get mega millions and the class members get a coupon for a free movie from Direct TV...good thinking on your part.

This isn't even logical, why would they do that?  You would then be on a NEW 2 year contract with them, so why would YOU do that...are you leaving anything out here?
