Direct TV has failed to notify customers upon installing or selling their product that an early termination fee exists. When I had Direct TV the only thing I signed was the installation notice which did not have any mention of an early termination charge, neither did the installation tech mention this.

I have a friend that worked for them in Nashville, TN and he told me that was common practice with Direct TV.
It has been well over a year ago that I terminated the service and since then I am now on my fourth collection agency threatening, coercing and otherwise annoying me to pay a fee that I never agreed to or was aware of.
Beware of Direct TV's practices.

Direct TV This company owned by AT&T and an Equity Firm TGP is nothing more than a decitful, lieing organization who rippes people off by hiring foreigners whom you can't understand and lie to you about services you can get for free, then you find out later it's not free and when you cancel they stick you with a possible illegal cancellation fee. If it's not illegal, it should be. Drop your satellite services ASAP.
