In Feb. I wrote a note in with my bill, which was paid by check cancelling my subscription to direct tv. told them i would call them when i got moved. well we moved called them, the installer came out and said he didnt have a clear view of the southern sky which is did but would have to put up a pole he didnt want to do it. well after a few months they sent me a bill from old address, which was disconected.

Was forwared to new address, each month they would raise the payment for 100.00 after a few months I didnt pay becasue of no service the bill was well over 400.00 dollars. Finally I sent the bill back saying moved not at this address. They want money for no service. I could understand it if I was getting service but I wasn't and am not getting their services. I liked them but never again will i have direct tv.

Did you ever call Directv after you told the installer that you didn't want a pole in your yard?

The installers do not handle your account information and simply not having your equipment installed at your new address doesn't close your account.

Have you tried to call Directv? Have you spoken with their representatives and had those people look at the installation order that was never done?

They are billing you for the service that they are providing to your equipment, no matter the address.

Simply writing notes on their bills, doesn't close your account or solve your problem.

Call Directv!!!
