DISH Network came to my home and installed both Internet and TV as a bundle. The technician gave us no paperwork to sign what all and did not leave any with is. It is thirty days later and I see their service sucks for both Internet and TV and called to cancel. I received FOUR signed pdf contracts and a bill for $989 for early termination. I opened the contracts and saw all were indeed signed but not by me. My signature is very distinctive and this appeared to be signed by a chicken. It was chicken crap for sure because on one of the four it has my husbands initials as RRM and that isn't even his initials much less his signature. I'm contacting the police, the FCC, the FBI and an attorney because this is fraud and forgery pure and simple. If any of the five hundred or so people who have filed similar reports on this site would like to file a class action suit against these scammers, please contact me at beckymcgrawbooks@gmail.com. This has to be stopped. My husband called them and worked his way up to the executive level. They did not apologize or say they would look into it. They told him it was a valid contract and if he had a problem with it he would need to have our attorney contact their legal department.

Contracts

I have a friend who at the time had Dish Network come out. I was unable to do the install because they had cut me off. But I made sure she knew everything about the install and contract.

Any business has it's crooks and people who don't know what they are going. My friend claimed  that she didn't sign a contract either.  There was a time that you had to sign a paper contract and now it's all electronics.

There has been a couple of time where I forgot to get the customer's signature or Dish Network refused the paperwork for some unknow reason and I would have to reprint the paperwork. Then I would have to call the customer and explain what happened. Most people were understanding about it and I was able to get their siganture.

But their are installers out there who would rather sign it than go back and fix the problem. Either it be  electronic or actually paper, but none the less it was their responsibility to correct the problem legally.

But for all of you thinking about Dish Network  you can go to dish.com/service-agreements and find a blank copy of the contract. You should never sign anything until your happy with the installtion and then ask how your going to get a copy of the signed contract.

If it really isn't your husband's signature then someone should be made to pay. I would also file a complaint with the Attorney General's Office in your State.

It's installers and companies like this that give us all a bad name.
