Dish Network - EchoStar Satellite L.L.C. Advertized one free channel for the Arabic Elite Super Pack, confirmed on the phone and charged us for the channel Littleton Colorado

In January 2008, we received a letter in the mail from Dish Network advertizing one channel worth $4.99 per month, free to costumers who subscribe to the Arabic Elite Super Pack international package or already have it, which cost $39.99 at the time.

We also noticed on our own TV that Dish Network was also advertizing this offer on the Satellite airwaves. We assumed it was honest and expected the offer to be honored by Dish Network.

In January 2008 I called Dish Network and discussed this offer as well as my choices. The girl from Dish Network customer service confirmed to me on the phone that we do have the Arabic Elite Super Pack and that this made us eligible for this offer so we decided to add the NourSat channel for free as advertized.

As advertized on TV in January of 2008 and in the letter we received at home, and as confirmed during the phone call with the girl from the Dish Network customer service, per our choice, she added the NourSat channel to our Satellite package without any charge, we were told "ever".

It is now February 2008 and my current Dish Network bill clearly showed a charge for the NourSat channel. This goes against the TV advertisement and against the letter they sent to our home and against what I was told and confirmed on the phone with Dish Network customer service:

What Dish Network has also done is they have raised my monthly service for this international packed from $39.99 to $44.99 without prior notice:

I called up Dish Network last night and argued my case with the guy on the phone for a goof half hour and ended up with 6 months of free NourSat but I made it clear for the record that I am unhappy with the culture of corruption that Dish Networks promotes and the False Advertizing and that I will be performing some searches and if I find a copy of the letter or a video recording of the TV ads that I will pursue a class action lawsuit against Dish Network and against its parent company EchoStar. Someone has to tame this wild giant.

If anyone has a copy of the letter that Dish Network mailed to subscribers regarding one free channel offer, and/or a video copy of the satellite TV advertisement in regards to this free channel special Satellite TV offer by Dish Network or its parent company EchoStar please contact me.
