Dish Network False Advertising, Flat right lied! Charged $443.00 Cacellation fee after 12 hrs of crap service!!!! Nationwide

Called Dish at Thursday, 9:45 am. to answer add for Satellite TV promotion. Told that my service (currently Direct TV) would stay the same in every room of the house and that my bill would be half of what it currently is. The lady said,,, what do I have to lose---IF I did not like it --they would refund my money!!!  They arrived Thursday 3:15 PM and installed Dish!!

1st off--the reciever was not RF(could not read or switch channels thru walls).

2nd By the way there is no HD in the second room!(Had to call in and purchase another reciever to get HD in 2nd Room). 

3rd- the service was intermittent during the night (picture quality was bad). They said it was my fault-- probably the dish, trees in the way, ETC. The Direct TV dish worked perfect for 4 years and it sets right next to it.

4th- They hit me with a $49.00 one time fee that I was never told about. I refused to pay it and they crossed it off.(That was before I had signed the contract)

I called customer service on Friday AM--waited on phone for 22 min, was transferred to another department--waited for 14 minutes,transferred agin to the 3rd department--waited 17 minutes.  After 1 hr and 13 minutes--finally got to talk to the presidents office.

End result:  Told them to cancel and they charged me $443.00 fee to cancel. it was worth it to get rid of the worst company in the USA.

I say that it was  $443.00 well spent--because the lesson was learned.

Stay clear of DISH !!!!  Warning!

I went back to (((REDACTED))) and they welcomed me with open arms, gave me discounts and promotions to offset the penalty with DISH.

(((REDACTED))) has the best service ever. I had not had one problem in the previous 4 years. I should never have left them.
