DISH network Fraudulent sales, Say no less than 24 month contract, Will not try to correct National Nationwide

I was cold called about changing my television satellite provider. I was told it would be for one year. When the year was up, and the price went up, he told me to call back and change back to the one I already had. I asked about remote replacement and was told to call him and he would replace it. Do not buy the insurance he said. I scheduled for them to come on a Saturday afternoon. They came on a Friday morning when only my son was home.

The salesman even told me we would have the sports channels we already had. Nope! No Rockies, No Big 10. I believed the smooth talker. When I read the contract about a month later I was surprised to find it was for 24 months. I began trying to call the salesman to find out what was going on. Never got an answer, could only leave a message. I never received a call back. I was not given the phone number for Dish, so I was unsure who to call. When a letter came about opting out of arbitration I logged on to opt out.

Of course the page was inoperable. But there was a phone number. I called the number and spoke with 3 different people. The second one seemed as though he wanted to let me off with just 12 months. The third said the contract was binding and I was locked in for 24 months. Despite all the problems I have with DISH he would do nothing but offer $10.00 off for the next 10 months. My tv turns off due to inactivity, So what if I watch the same channel all day. It doesn't turn off all the way. You have to click on a button to get a picture back. Most of the time it changes the channel. I was given no instruction on how to use the remote, or the hopper. I am completely frustrated with Dish and would never recommend them to anyone! They suck. They can't even contact the people who installed my system!
