Driver Support Driver Support should change its name to Driver Non Support Internet

I started having trouble with my computer and decided to contact the support company recommended by my computer to help solve the blue screen error problem.  I was connected to a company called "Driver Support."  This online company said that I needed to purchase this program called "Driver Support" plus I paid for a 1 year license ext. plus and optimization for a total cost of 49.91.  I purchased these items thinking that it must a ligitamate because it was recommended by my computer company.  Then I contacted an agent of Driver Support for assistance with the installation which they were happy to do and the agent with my permission took remote control of my computer and then proceeded to show me all the so called "Adware" on my computer that needed to be removed.  So then I was given the high pressure sales pitch to convince me that I needed a more expensive up-grade program at the cost of $250 dollars to clean up my computer. At that point I decided that I needed to do some further investigation before agreeing to this costly up-grade.  And I am very thankful that I did not purchase that up-grade from this company because even the so called "Driver Support" program which is supposed to locate and up-grade any out-dated drivers did not work on my computer and has done nothing to help me.  I have made 3 phone calls to the customer support number and each time I get an automated answering service telling me to leave my number and they will get back to me, which they never do. Based upon my experience I would advice anyone to say away from buying anything from Driver Support on line company.  I think they are ripping people off and providing nothing.
