Eagle Warranty Corporation ripoff on transmission work Blakely Pennsylvania

I have had eagle warranty for almos 3 years and have been paying for it in my car payment. The transmission went out on my jeep, no reverse. I called them and asked them what i needed to do and they told me it had to stay in shop for repairs and my deductible would be max $100.

I took it to a repair shop an hour away and they laughed in my face when they heard who i had. they contacted eagle and got authorization to do work. was going to need a rebuild on tranny.

eagle warranty told them they could send down a used tranny or they would pay $830 of a $1700 bill. Mechanic did not reccommend getting used tranny and going with the rebuild, so we did.

$945 later out of my pocket i got my jeep back. called eagle and they gave me the run around on why i had to pay that much. in the end they said they dont cover rebuilds on a tranny. paperwork says tranny failure due to lubricated parts will be fixed, that is what happened to mine. still wont cover it. they paid what a used tranny would cost them and took it off the bill.

told him i would report to BBB and he says go ahead i will deal with that when it comes across my desk. in the long run i have a worthless warranty that covers nothing that goes wrong an when they do want to fix it they use old used parts, you dont know what is wrong with them or where they came from.
